Lester Sutton is the Managing Director at GD Mediaware. He had come to GD Mediaware having been the Strategic Advisor Security Solutions at Honeywell. Previous to this his was Head of Analysis and Production at Combined Intelligence Operations Center (CIOC), Iraq. His other Defense experience includes; Commander (General Manager) at Joint Operations Intelligence Centre Australia (JOICAUST); Commander (General Manager) at Australian Theatre Joint Intelligence Centre (ASTJIC); Acting Director Military Strategy at Australian Defence Headquarters; Military Liaison Officer at Australian Senate Inquiry into 'Children Overboard'; Australian Defence Force Liaison Officer at Combined Joint Task Force, Kuwait; Deputy Head of Intelligence (Manager) at Australian Theatre (now Joint Operations Command); Officer Commanding Force Protection at Australian National Command Element, East Timor; Deputy Director at Restructuring the Army Trials, Australian Land Command; Personnel and Training Manager at Australian Directorate of Military Intelligence; Project Manager Surveillance, Target Acquisition & Night Observation at Defence Materiel Organisation and Intelligence Officer at 72nd Electronic Warfare Squadron.

Mr. Brett Daley joined the Company in 2006 in the role of CFO as the Company established a new corporate management structure to better support the next phase of development including international expansion.  Mr. Daley has an extensive background in broadcasting financial management including serving as the CFO of Australia’s leading television network, Nine Network. He also held senior corporate development roles for the parent company to Nine, Publishing and Broadcasting Limited. Mr. Daley’s work experience also includes international tax planning, M&A activities, corporate development and corporate governance. He also owned and operated a location based television advertising business, ‘Good Health Television’ prior to joining Mediaware.

Dr John Lilleyman is the Operations Director with overall responsibility for product development at Mediaware. With his first degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London and his PhD in Computer Systems Engineering in 1993 he has held a long interest in the interaction of hardware and software involved in the field of image and signal processing executed in parallel both on specialist and general purpose computers. Before Mediaware, he has taken industry and research roles where logistic skills and organisational experience are critical - from leading seismic oil exploration teams in remote locations to leading research groups at the Division of Information Technology at Australia's CSIRO. After co-founding the company in 1997, he has moved from hands-on product development to project management and product delivery as the company has grown to its present size. Following the acquisition of Mediaware by General Dynamics in late 2007, he became the Engineering Director before moving into the role of Operations Director in 2009 as the company focused on product and systems delivery into both the Defence and Broadcast markets.

Dr K Tsui was a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO’s Image-processing Research Unit before co-founding Mediaware in 1997. His research experience includes image processing, massively parallel computing, scientific visualization and video compression.

Dr Kevin Moore is the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for identifying and developing Mediaware's product and technology strategic vision. Joining Mediaware in 1998 shortly after it was founded, Kevin was part of the engineering team responsible for the development of Mediaware's core capabilities in native MPEG and H.264/AVC editing, compressed domain scene change detection, video playback, stream capture, and helped build the first two generations of desktop editing products. Prior to joining Mediaware, Kevin spent 7 years as a Research Scientist at CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, working on a range of image processing and scientific data visualization projects. Kevin has BSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the Australian National University, and a broad background in video and image processing, high performance computing and software engineering.

Joining  Mediaware in September 2006 Ian Jeavons-Fellows has had a long and successful career in Television Broadcasting, beginning as a member of the Engineering team at the Ten Network in Sydney in 1981. His previous role as Director of Sales for Tandberg Television has seen the company dominate the digital video compression market in Australasia for nearly a decade. He has also held senior leadership roles with Sony and News Corp. Mr Jeavons-Fellows holds a Graduate Diploma in Management and a Television Operations Certificate in Broadcasting . His role is critical in the identification of new business opportunities and products, to drive the growth of the company in the Broadcast sector into the future.

Dr David Liebowitz leads Mediaware's engineering team. David has a background in computer vision research and commercialization, particularly in a small business context. Following a computer vision doctorate at the University of Oxford, he spent a year a guest researcher in the Computational Vision and Active Perception Laboratory of the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, where he co-developed and patented a camera calibration method for video motion capture. Moving to Australia in 2001, he served as Senior Research Scientist for the HMI company Seeing Machines, leaving in 2003 to co-found consulting company Visual Geometry Solutions with colleagues in Oxford. As a consultant he worked on varied projects in such areas as video processing, industrial machine vision, machine learning for cancer diagnosis and fault detection. David followed a consulting role for Mediaware by joining the company in 2005 to lead work on a Capability and Technology Demonstrator, a two year Australian defence contract to develop video exploitation technology for airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
