InStream Insertion Server

InStream Insertion Server - a real time, frame accurate, long GOP native MPEG compressed domain splicer and file-based MPEG compressed domain splicer and file-based MPEG insertion server.

Detailed Description

InStream Insertion Server is the first system to enable live switching of native MPEG Transport Streams with true frame accurately. The Mediaware InStream Insertion Server’s core architecture allows it to perform seamless real time cuts between MPEG video streams or files on any video frame in the GOP. It has the flexibility and configurability to perform numerous tasks within the broadcast network environment.

InStream Insertion Server provides innovative and cost effective solutions to real time native digital video management and distribution within the common standards of High Definition and Standard Definition MPEG video streams. This is augmented by the InStream Conversion and Distribution System (Distribution Sender and Distribution Receiver) that can prepare content from multiple playback systems ready for insertion into the stream: preserving existing investments without the additional expense of content recapture. The Distribution System facilitates the delivery of content to regional markets.
